Tabby's references to other horror titles feel natural and the references are fun to spot while watching Original Sin. Instead, they serve to enhance the show by giving the show a sense of realism, as all of the main characters' dialogue is designed to replicate how real teenagers speak today. While there may be a lot of Easter eggs in the first three episodes of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, they don't distract from the main story of the show or feel forced to draw viewers. In another reference to Halloween, the scene where Imogen and Tabby walk to school together mirrors the scene where Laurie Strode and Annie Brackett walk home from school. In episode 1, "Chapter One: Spirit Week," Imogen Adams (Bailee Madison) is sitting in a classroom twirling her pen when she spots the masked "A" outside the window, a reference to when Laurie Strode spotted Michael Myers for the first time. ![]() Beyond these small Easter eggs, the first three episodes of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin also contain many scenes that are reminiscent of scenes from other horror films. ![]()
